THIS BIRD HAS BEEN GIVEN MANY ADVERSE NAMES BY SOME FANCIERS WANTING TO SEPARATE THEIR BREED OF PIGEON AWAY FROM ANY ASSOCIATION WITH THIS BIRD.

The only difference between this bird and the other domesticated pigeons is their living conditions.
The Common Pigeon has a tough life on the street trying to peck out a living, dodging cars and the adverse action of people.
This pigeon was the first bird I held as a kid, and I enjoyed watching them for hours on end.
